As a Christian, one of the most amazing things is having the power of prayer! Christians can ask God for or about anything through prayer without fear of retribution. Also, knowing your prayers will be answered. The answer may only sometimes be the one you want. The answer may come in a different time frame than you wanted. It may not be crystal clear, but God answers prayer. Keep praying every day! Keep your faith in our Lord. Use the free will God gave us to strive toward the things you are praying for. Pray with your kids every day! Teach them to pray. Pray with your wife! Bow your heads and pray in public when eating out! Pray boldly and passionately every day! Then, you will start feeling the power and the joy of prayer. That joy can only come from a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Remember, communication is a big part of any relationship!
My Prayer:
Thank you, Lord, for giving us this fantastic way to communicate with you! You ask us to come to you boldly with our needs. And even though you know our every need, you still tell us to pray. And so I do pray daily. I ask you what I need to be the man you want me to be. I ask you for healing and direction, and I thank and worship you for all you do for me. Lord, as I pray, I do believe! Thank you, Lord, for your unbreakable promise to hear and answer my prayers. Amen
